Cloud Without Panic — AWS & Azure for Beginners PDF with AI: Cloud Engineer Guide (55 Prompts)

Learn the cloud with an AI co-pilot, and without a surprise bill.

Cloud is scary for beginners for two reasons: confusing jargon and the fear of a big bill. Cloud Without Panic fixes both. You'll use free AI tools like a patient senior engineer, while learning to read, check and safely undo everything before you run it.

What's inside (45 pages)

• Your free lab, safely: AWS and Azure free offers explained (checked October 2026), MFA, budget alerts and the common surprise-bill traps
• Cloud basics in plain English: IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, regions, shared responsibility and an AWS ↔ Azure service map
• Networking & IAM without fear: CIDR, subnets, security groups and least-privilege policies
• The CLI without fear: AWS CLI and Azure CLI essentials, --query filters and --dry-run
• Terraform in plain English: a full web-server lab (VPC, subnet, security group, EC2) you build and destroy
• Scripts that save hours: a cost-waste report, an S3 public-access check and a disk alert
• Log troubleshooting with AI: grep/awk, CloudWatch and KQL queries, an error decoder and break-it-yourself drills
• 3 portfolio projects plus AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) and AZ-900 prep
• Interview edge + 30-day cloud sprint

Example prompt (#15 · IAM)

"Write an AWS IAM policy that allows [WHAT THE APP NEEDS] on [RESOURCE NAMES] and nothing else. Explain each statement, check that every action matches the right resource ARN format, and tell me how to test it."

Tested, not guessed: the Terraform lab was validated, applied and destroyed in testing; CLI commands and Python scripts were run; the bash script passed ShellCheck.

Who it's for: freshers aiming for cloud support, operations or junior cloud roles; IT support staff and sysadmins moving to the cloud; CLF-C02 and AZ-900 aspirants; developers who need to deploy.
